脳卒中をやっつけろ！

今回はJackson Holeから車で30-40分のティートン村のフォーシーズンホテルで学会が開催されました。
すぐ近くにグラントティートン国立公園や、世界的に有名なイエローストーン国立公園があると聞いていましたが、昨年はギリギリのスケジュールであったため行けませんでした。そこで、今回は思い切って行ってみました。
火山のカルデラが中心のこの国立公園は、世界最大級の間欠泉（左上）や大きな滝、さらには7色に輝く大きな池（左下）など、見たこともない光景の連続です。
動物も一杯で、途中、バイソンの群れが道路を占拠して、20-30分、通り過ぎるのを待ったりしました（右上）。
アメリカで最初の国立公園に指定され、登録初年度の1978年に世界遺産に選ばれたことも納得できます。
一生に一度は見るべき景色、とさえ思いました。

This time, the 3C was held in the Four Season Hotel of Teton village. It takes 30-40 minutes from Jackson city.
I’ve heard that it was close to grand Teton national park and world-famous Yellow stone national park. But I did not have time last year. So, we tried this time.
This national park was located within the caldera of the volcano, having a world-class geyser (upper left), big waterfalls, and an iridescent hot spring which I’ve never seen (lower left).
There were so many wild animals. Actually, we had to wait in a car until a heard of bisons passed over (upper right).
Now I understand why Yellowstone was the first national park in the U.S. and also in the world.
I thought that was to see once in a lifetime.
