2025年6月2日から4日まで、パリのルーブル美術館地下にあるCarrousel du Louvreで開催された LINNC Paris 2025 に参加してきました！
今回は、光栄なことに 初めてFacultyとしてご招待いただき、当科の 瀬尾恭一先生、阿部宗一郎先生 とともに参加しました。
LINNCは、脳血管内治療のライブセミナーのうち、世界で最も長い歴史を持つ国際学会です。私が長年にわたり尊敬してやまない Jacques Moret先生を中心に、Laurent Spelle先生、Vitor Mendes Pereira先生の3名で運営されています。
私は今回、パネリストおよび少人数グループでの教育セッション（Small Group Teaching）を担当させていただきました。会場では、日本ではまだ導入されていない最新のデバイスを用いた治療や、国際的な最新エビデンスの発表が行われ、まさに世界最先端の現場を体感することができました。
世界中のトップクラスの医師たちが一堂に会し、会場は連日満席。熱気と緊張感に包まれた素晴らしい3日間でした。こうした機会を通じて、日本国内では得がたい新しい知識や視点を多く得ることができたと感じています。
今回は観光ゼロのハードスケジュールでしたが、途中、凱旋門をチラッと見ることができました（笑）。
次回も機会があればぜひ参加したいと思います。
Attending LINNC Paris 2025!
From June 2nd to 4th, 2025, I had the great pleasure of attending LINNC Paris 2025, held at the Carrousel du Louvre beneath the Louvre Museum in Paris.
This year, I was truly honored to be invited for the first time as a faculty member, and I joined the conference together with my colleagues, Dr. Kyoichi Seo and Dr. Soichiro Abe, from our department.
LINNC is the world’s longest-standing live seminar dedicated to neuroendovascular therapy, and it remains one of the most prestigious international meetings in the field. The congress is led by three remarkable physicians I deeply admire—Prof. Jacques Moret, Prof. Laurent Spelle, and Prof. Vitor Mendes Pereira.
As a faculty member, I participated as an expert panelist and also took part in small group teaching sessions, engaging directly with attendees. The program featured many cutting-edge devices and techniques not yet available in Japan, as well as the latest international evidence in neurointervention. It was truly inspiring to witness and learn from the forefront of global practice.
The venue was packed every day, full of energy and enthusiasm, as top experts from around the world gathered to share their experiences and knowledge. I gained many new insights and perspectives that would be hard to obtain solely within Japan.
Although it was a very tight schedule with no time for sightseeing, I did manage to catch a brief glimpse of the Arc de Triomphe from a taxi window—so that counts, right? 😄
I sincerely hope to attend again in the future if the opportunity arises.
